Ghost The Musical (www.ghostthemusical.com) - Matthew Warchus is to direct a musical version of the Academy Award winning film GHOST, scheduled to open in Autumn 2011. Music and lyrics are by Grammy® award winning Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard, and Oscar® winning Bruce Joel Rubin will adapt his original screenplay for the stage and write lyrics. Blastbeat - Blastbeat (www.blastbeat.org) is an innovative social enterprise programme that enables students to participate in the music industry and run a business at the same time. Blastbeat hass partnered with the DCSF (Department for Children, Schools and Famalies) to run their programme in 66 schools in London, with a national growth plan to follow. First Rights are working with Blastbeat to find a naming sponsor that will benefit from music, multimedia, social networking, enterprise training and responsible socialising. Special Olympics Leicester 2009 - From 25 to 31 July 2009 Leicester staged the 8th Special Olympics National Summer Games with great success. First Rights worked with the organising committee to develop and manage the partnership programme. As a result, the event had it's a first ever broadcast partner in ITV. In addition a number of partnerships were developed with local sponsors.
